Welcome To Chalk Bluff River Resort

Day passes are always available, year-round and do not require reservations. Just come on out and enjoy your day!
You will want to bring your own chairs, table, BBQ and canopy. Do not bring any glass containers or bottles and no large/loudspeakers. You are to set up at the river. All picnic tables are for designated camping sites, they are not there for day use.


Day Pass Times & Prices Are:

7 Days a Week, 10am - 6pm, $15/person
Holiday Weekends, 10am - 6pm, $20/person

Last time for park entry is 4pm.
Additional fees will be applied for entrance outside of posted times.



CHECK IN: 4:00PM | CHECK OUT: 11 AM | QUIET TIME: 10 PM
No river access between sunset and sunrise. Daylight hours only!
Day pass fees applied for check in before 1pm. No guarantee your cabin will be ready early.
If your key is not returned by 11am check out, you will be charged an additional night.

Leave a detailed voicemail and you will receive a call back (possibly from a No Caller ID number).
Deposit: 50% payment is required at the time of booking.

Cancellations: All sales are final. If a cancellation is needed, your initial payment will be saved as a credit
for a future reservation within the same calendar year.
Pet Fee: Cabin: $25 per pet, per night, $50 max per pet. Tent/RV - $25 one-time fee per pet.
Nightly Minimums: 2 night regularly; 3 nights on Holidays
Overflow Tent and RV areas & Pecan Bottom: Every weekend between Memorial Day and Labor Day usually end up being sold out for cabins and camping sites with amenities.
We have overflow areas to be used for either dry camping or with a generator for your tent or RV.
Reservations are not needed for these areas, just come on out.

All on property activities are available for both day pass and overnight guests.

You can bring your own gear for fishing, kayaking, tubing and BBQing.

We have a domestic petting zoo, playground, jump pillows, one mile of river front and plenty of open space for nature walks and bike riding.

We offer the camel rides, farm animal encounters and safari hayrides for additional fees.






We do have a handful of guidelines to ensure everyone has the best time and stays safe!

  • All guests must always have a wristband on or be asked to pay again.
  • Speed Limit is 5mph - No vehicles permitted near animal pens or beyond the barriers at the river!
  • Stay on the road. WE WILL NOT PULL YOU OUT, CALL A WRECKER!
  • Do NOT drive in the river! It is against state law and we will call the Game Wardens.
  • Your tires can not touch the water in any way!!
  • River entry is at your own risk. NO lifeguards on duty at any time.
  • No glass bottles. No littering! Please place all trash in the dumpsters.
  • Failure to clean up after yourself will result in a min. $100 charge.
  • Damaged (defaced/graffitied minimum $200 fee) or stolen Chalk Bluff Property will result in replacement fees (cabins are inventoried).
  • No DJ equipment or large speakers. No loud or vulgar music or language. Your neighbors should not be able to hear your music. Keep bass to a minimum.
  • Do NOT harass animals. Only feed them food provided in the store.
  • Pets must be on a leash at all times and are not permitted at the animal pens.
  • Do not damage live trees. No OAK permitted in the park. No chainsaws/axes.
  • No ATV, UTV, dirt bikes or off-road vehicles permitted. Golf Carts are ok.
  • Absolutely NO fireworks, firearms or weapons of any kind. Including BB and Airsoft guns.
  • No Smoking of any kind in or near any building (cabin, restroom, etc.)
  • No generators permitted in assigned tent sites. No trailers/RVs in Pecan Bottom.
  • Do not enter the jump pillow area when staff is not present.
  • Do not climb on farm equipment, fences or attempt to enter an animal pen.
  • Quiet time is 11pm. Respect your neighbors.


**Failure to check out at 11:00AM will result in an additional night's charge.
