Willoughby Hardwood Flooring LLC offers its customers a maintenance program which consists of a process called “screen & recoat”, which is relatively inexpensive. The frequency of this will be determined by the homeowner's lifestyle. Those who carefully maintain their hardwood floors might need this every 6 or 7 years. Others, with small children and pets running in and out might need it more frequently. It generally takes just one day and can bring the shine back to its original appearance. Many of our customers regularly schedule these “recoats” during the summer when the children are out of school and the family takes a summer vacation.
