Both curved and removable tracks are available to exactly fit your balcony and not take up valuable floor space. The Accordion shutters have been tested to meet or exceed Southern Florida's building code regulations.

• Header thickness of .125" versus .060" of competitors.  Header carries the weight of the accordion.  Center header below is competitors standard offering.  Top and bottom is our accordion.

• A Regent commercial lock comes standard in our shutter which is on the right below.  Competitors offer the same lock as an option up to $150 per shutter.  Standard for most competitors is the thumb "push lock" which is a .250" dia rod and is on the left below.  Also take note of the structural difference of the members which the lock is mounted to.  Our accordion utilizes a three side boxed tube with .078" wall thickness.  Competitors use a single piece of flat stock, .062" thick. 
  
  
  

• Inside thumb turn knob is standard.  Check out the lock mechanism difference!

• Side panels (.125" thick 2" x 4" angle)/blades are anchored to the structure with 1/4" anchors on 12" centers, adding additional anchoring strength.  Competitors side panel, (side thickness is .090" and on right below) typically anchor the side panels to the top header and lower track, two screws into each.  No anchor into the wall structure.
  
  
  

• Our walkover lower track, which is on the left below, could be said to be more "toe friendly". 
• Tracks are anchored with 2 1/4" anchors on 6" centers.Anchors exposed to the elements are individually sealed prior to being installed as an extra step to insure your structure water/insect tight when we are finished!
